DoubleN

The last time I saw DoubleN she was heading to the bar with another 43er. I think they were going to do crunches together, as we had done some earlier when we were posing for the group pictures.

She was very sweet, and I regret not getting more of a chance to talk to her based on table positioning at the 43 Things Chicago meet.

DoubleN and I met at the Walnut room in Macy’s to see Martha Stewart light up the tree. We shared a bottle of wine, and had an easy, fun conversation filled with laughs and genuine depth (as all of us 43thingers have). We took the train over to Chinatown and wandered around. It was a nice way to come back to Chicago, to spend the day with DoubleN, seeing this place with fresh eyes. I wish her the best in all of her goals, especially the travel ones!! ;)

Surly is just plain fun to be with, which you might not guess, given her screen name. She’s a great hostess, with a bottle of wine always at the ready. Her faithful sidekick is great, too!

And just to clarify her recent comments, it was not ME involved in the belly dancing! Due to the sacred Pinkie Swear, I cannot divulge exactly who that was … :)

Last time I saw DoubleN there was bellydancing involved!!!

Not only does she have a way with words and a keen eye for a great photo, C.J. is just an all-around interesting person, even when she’s NOT hopped up on caffeine!

And I think I speak for all of us 43T’ers when I say that I’m just curious as hell to find out what she actually looks like! Not her feet, her shadow, her shoes, etc. :D

Always has the best “grateful” entries, sometimes bring a tear to my eye. The love she has for her family, shows through and it makes me happy for her.

I want to meet her in Chicago, along with Mollie and take the city by storm and never let it be the same.

I agree – Segsy IS a great Mom and wonderful person! Not to mention fund-raising power house and all-around thoughtful woman. I hope I actually WILL be able to meet her at the 43T meetup in Chicago this November!

Dawn, the secret to becoming a GILF is to not kill your offspring when they’re teenagers! :D

She is always so upbeat and fun. I can’t get over the fact that she is a Grandma ?!? I want to know her secret to being a GILF :D
My kids are 10 & 12 so I’ll have plenty of time to follow her example.
